Counter Fraud and Enforcement Unit Update Report pdf icon PDF 130 KB

The purpose of the report is to provide the Housing Committee with assurance over the counter fraud activities of the Council in relation to the retained housing stock and Housing and Tenancy Fraud.

 

A summary of the work undertaken is presented detailing work streams and results for consideration and comment as the body charged with governance in this area.

To present the 2024/25 forecast outturn position against the General Fund and Housing Revenue Account (HRA) revenue budgets and Capital Programme that the Committee is responsible for, in order to give an expectation of possible variances against budget.

Adoption of the Council's Housing and Homelessness Strategy pdf icon PDF 94 KB

The purpose of this report is to request the formal adoption of the new Housing Strategy, developed across the council departments which get involved in housing activity. This strategy aims to address the current and future housing needs of our community, promoting sustainable development and improved quality of accommodation for residents.
